Lagos politician, Segun Adewale, popularly known as Aeroland was filmed hitting a female BBC News Pidgin journalist whom he accused of recording him during the governorship and state Houses of Assembly election that held yesterday.
The clip was posted on BBC Pidgin’s social media accounts on Saturday. The politician and some unknown individuals attacked the journalist who was heard insisting that she did not record the man.
According to the caption, Segun Adewale was filmed involving in vote-buying. He was reportedly sharing N1,000 to each voter who voted for his party at the Pleasure bus stop along the Abeokuta-Lagos expressway.
The incident happened at a polling unit where voting was taking place.
