Former Argentina captain, Daniel Passarella has revealed that Lionel Messi has a different attitude when playing for Barcelona.
Passarella made this known in the wake of the Argentine team’s 3-1 loss to Venezuela in a friendly match.
The game which was Messi’s return to the national team since the 2018 world cup saw him leave the stadium with a groin injury and the kind of face he had on when Argentina were crashed out of the 2018 world cup by France.
” He’s a great player who can give a lot to any team. But when he plays for Barcelona he has a different attitude. He’s better there. Sometimes these things happen. You play well for a team and they love you, but you don’t feel at ease and something doesn’t fit. I don’t know what it is, but it should be something you feel inside,” Passarella said.
