Bishop Oyedepo’s multi-billion naira Canaan City Housing Project sparks controversy (Photos)

Earlier this week, News filtered that Bishop David Oyedepo had actualised his biggest dream of completing his latest multi-billion naira Mega Real Estate project, called ‘Canaan City’.

The multi billion naira project, which was built mostly for members’ habitation, was completed located at Iyana-Lesi, Ota area of Ogun State.

Pictures of the mega city are even presently trending online, captions like “Pastor Oyedepo finally opens his mega real estate project called ‘Canaan City for Habitation.”

The City has self-contain, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, duplex apartments for sale to members.

Reacting to this, some online users showered encomium on the Man of God while the likes of OAP Freeze mocked Oyedepo for such a massive project, in the midst of large number of his congregation being poor.

“Lets congratulate the bishop and the members of his church (a number of whom are poor), for making his dream come true,” he said on his Twitter page.
