Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi has spoken on what stole the show after his team advanced into the Europa League quarterfinals.
As the game between Arsenal and Rennes was nearing the end, Iwobi squared up to, Hamari Traore.
And after exchanging a few words with the 27-year-old Rennes defender, Iwobi pulled away and held his nose, trying to insinuate his rival had bad breath.
But, Sead Kolasinac of Arsenal quickly intervened to pull his team-mate away from Traore to ensure he didn’t pick up an unnecessary yellow card.
This act wasn’t received well by people, and it led to Iwobi receiving heavy backlash from fans on social media.
Alex has now revealed what Hamari did before his gesture. According to him, he was fouling him, cursing him and his mother and putting middle fingers up at him.
He made the revelation in a chat with popular face on Arsenal TV, Kelechi Anyikude. See below….
