Several Yoruba actors have taken time out to pay their colleague, Baba Suwe a visit following news of his failing health.

The actors which included Kunle Afod, who already shared a [photo of himself and Baba Suwe during the visit, Sanyeri, Adekola Tijani to name a few, have visited the veteran actor at his home in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

Baba Suwe who was reported to have been abandoned by his colleagues welcomed his guests into his home and going by the smile on his face, we can tell he holds no grudge.

He captioned the photo, “Visiting Baba Suwe yesterday was a joy for me. Thank God he’s still alive, he was happy to see us. Cracked some jokes and all I see in him was hope for survival and be strong again. I pray to God to give him good health and bring him back fully to active time.”

News of Baba Suwe’s ill health hit the media on Monday, February 18, 2019, and since then, efforts have been made to raise money for his treatment.

The amount of money raised so far has since been revealed by Yomi Fabiyi, as hope for his condition continues to rise.

APC chairman shot dead in Imo State

The All Progressives Congress, APC, chairman of the Logara/Umuohiagu Ward in the Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, Ifeanyi Ozoemena, has been killed by assassins. He was killed last night, February 19.

Reports say Ozoemena had just finished presiding over a political meeting in his ward when he was accosted by some masked men who shot him dead and drove off in a tinted SUV.

The incident has been confirmed by
the state Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi.

According to him, investigations into the killing has started and that the culprits will soon be apprehended.

The body of the deceased has been deposited in a morgue.
