Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is celebrating Mental Health Week with primary school children and via a game of show and tell, sharing what makes her happy.
Visiting the Lavender Primary School pupils on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, Kate and the kids were to share objects that represent ‘something that makes them feel good.’
Settling in among the children while reaching into her bag, Kate said, ‘I’ve got something. It’s not very big. Do you want to see it?
‘This is a photograph of my family. These are my children and this is my husband. And my family makes me feel happy. And we like playing outside together and spending lots of time together as a family. And that makes me feel very happy.’
According to the reports, the Duchess is the patron of the charity Place2Be, a leading children’s mental health charity in the UK which is geared towards providing in-school support as well as expert training to improve the emotional wellbeing of pupils, families, teachers and school staff.
