Political activist, Deji Adeyanju has been released on bail by a Kano State Magistrate Court after spending 63 days in detention.
He was arrested over a case said to have been decided by a Kano State high court in 2009.
Deji Adeyanju was nailed in the tune of N500,000 plus two sureties.
The news of his release was confirmed by Femi Fani-Kayode who tweeted:
“Great news that Adeyanju Deji has been granted bail after spending over 60 days in a Kano prison simply because he spoke truth to power. We give thanks to God. I am so proud of this deeply courageous and inspiring young man. Head bloodied but not bowed!”
