Muslims have been advised against buying Marks and Spencer toilet paper because they believe they can see Allah (the Arabic word for God) written on it.
The observstion was made public by a man who recorded a video to show that the tissue paper has written on it the name of Allah.
He said:
“Recently I bought toilet tissue from Marks & Spencer and when I opened one of them, it has the name of Allah, as you can see.
“So please brothers and sisters, prevent yourselves from buying this particular toilet tissue, or try boycott Marks & Spencers, because every toilet tissue has the name of Allah on it.
Thank you very much, please share this video.”
The video has since sparked an outrageous by Muslims who expressed disappoinment in Marks & Spencers for its action.
Reacting to the outcry, the company released a statement in which they stated that the symbol mistaken for the name of Allah is ‘categorically of an aloe vera leaf’.
