Man steals 58 panties in Anambra, escapes lynching

A suspected bandit has escaped being lynched after he was reportedly caught stealing women’s underwear (panties) at a student area in Mgbakwu, Anambra State.

The suspect, identified as Ifeanyi from Umuneke, Enugu State, confessed to stealing more than 58 women panties before nemesis caught up with him.

It was gathered that Ifeanyi had broken into the house around 2 am and was packing up his stash of stolen underwear, when a lady who came out to urinate saw him and raised alarm.

The suspect revealed that he usually sold the underwear to one Emeka Ofor at the rate of N500 in Enugu State. However, after being thoroughly beaten, Ifeanyi was later freed following a passionate plea he gave.

He, however, urged youths still in the business of stealing ladies pants or other criminal activities to repent and give their lives to Christ.
