Homophobic attack: Police release details on possible suspects in Jussie Smollett’s attack

Days after the homophobic attack on “Empire” star, Jussie Smollett, the police has released photos of two possible suspects in the attack.

According to PEOPLE, the police will be questioning these possible suspects for their possible role in the attack which took place early on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

The spokesperson for the Chicago Police, Anthony Guglielmi, tweeted an update on the case which disclosed that investigators have acquired a footage which could lead to the possible arrest of the culprits.

Guglielmi tweeted on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, saying, “Photos of people of interest who were in the area of the alleged assault & battery of Empire cast member,” sharing photos of two figures wearing dark clothes and walking side-by-side.

Homophobic attack: Details surrounding Jussie Smollett’s attack revealed

Following the attack on Jussie Smollett by two masked white men in New York, details surrounding what is being described as a "homophobic attack" has emerged.

Recall that the gay "Empire" star was attacked while on a food trip to the subway at about 2 am Tuesday Morning, January 29, 2019.

According to TMZ, Smollett was attacked by two men wearing ski masks who confronted him on his way out of the subway, saying, “Aren’t you that f***ot Empire n****?”

Shortly afterwards, the actor was viciously attacked, causing him to suffer a fractured rib as he fought back. His attackers are said to have put a rope around his neck and poured bleach on him while screaming, “This is MAGA country.”

Smollett is reportedly undergoing treatment at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was hospitalised following the attack.

His attack has since caused an outcry from fans and celebrities alike...
