The Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, on Tuesday rejected the order to stop the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen by a Federal High Court, Abuja, and National Industrial Court of Nigeria.
Onnoghen is standing trial for alleged false declaration of assets.
Reacting to the order by the courts, CCT chairman Justice Danladi Umar said, “This is because the tribunal is established by the constitution under the third schedule to adjudicate on matters of asset declaration.
“Therefore any order from any court directing it not to carry out its duty is in crystal violation of the constitution.”
Chris Brown has finally spoken up about the rape allegations leveled against him and yes, he claims the alleged victim is lying.
He made this clear in a not-too subtle Instagram post he shared on a Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
In the post, The “Royalty” singer claims that the 27-year-old Parisian is a liar, adding that the accusations are false and very disrespectful.
Recall that earlier reports revealed that Chris Brown had been arrested over the allegations as investigations were underway.
According to the reports, the alleged victim claims to have met Chris Breezy at a club in central Paris, adding that they left for his hotel room afterwards.
The incident reportedly took place earlier this month.
It was also reported that two other men, Chris Breezy’s friend and one of his bodyguards, was also arrested.
