President Muhammadu Buhari has finally responded to rumours making the rounds that he died when he fell ill in 2017 and has been replaced by a certain Jubril from Sudan.
The rumour had taken centre stage on social media and in many quarters for weeks now but the President who is currently attending a conference in Poland has dispelled the rumours adding that he is still going strong.
He said, “A lot of people hoped that I died during my ill health. It is real me… I will soon celebrate my 76th birthday and I will still go strong.”
Presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmed shared a video clip where the President spoke on the matter on Twitter on Sunday evening.
