Gospel musician, Sammie Okposo slams Akpororo for going topless to praise God

Last night, Okokomaiko, Lagos, experienced an all night gospel praise night headlined by comedian Akpororo.

During the concert, the happily married comedian and father of three removed his shirt as he preformed and praised God like David in the Bible.

The action however did not go down well with Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, who thinks otherwise.

He wrote “Akproro wetin make you remove your shirt??? Why you go remove your shirt on top a strictly Gospel music stage. This is an Altar of praise and worship unto God and this is not funny at all, this is wrong and out of order.”

Akproro is yet to respond but his fans are already defending him.

One Ubong wrote “Sammy Okposo, I feel so ashamed to think that I one saw you as a role model. First, don’t forget a caring father will never wash his family wrong doing outside. You were one suspended in church, so you remember, Sir, wait again, for what reason? I guess you have forgotten, no wonder.

Paul corrected Peter and other disciples in the secret after they refused to eat with the gentiles claiming they were uncircumcised and in another chapter, he did the same correction thing with some elders but not in the open. Half baked Christians just because they are famous now resume the role of Christ. Na una the know how God dey vex, who do well and who no do well. Who Dey go heaven and who no Dey go?

Assistant God. What happened to calling him, texting him, or calling an in house meeting with him. Brother, you have shame not just us but yourself inclusive tagging media houses, Mehn you have really disappointed us. Gospel artist, gospel artist but bible them no sabi. I am not hailing Akpororo either but for whatever reason he did that, it was his own way of expressing how much he is grateful to God, wrong or right, let God decide that. And for those calling him a one leg in and one leg out confused comedian, the Pharisees said that to Jesus when he dined with sinners and say amongst them, this is how I know this guy is on the right part. You all should think about yourselves, if the trumpet sounds today, will you make it to heaven? The Bible tells us categorically that we are not to judge anyone. God help us all, Abeg make una change una ways. God is no respecter of any man. Good morning lovelies.”
