The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s agreement to pay N30,000 as the new minimum wage.
Yesterday, the president agreed to pay the new minimum wage, a decision which helped prevent labour unions from embarking on strike.
Reacting to the president’s decision, Atiku said, “No sacrifice is too great to make for us to get Nigeria working again and that is what the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation is all about.
“Abubakar means jobs, jobs that would pay the minimum wage and above because Nigeria should benefit the masses and not those who are in top government positions.”
