A school in Anambra State is currently trending on social media following viral photos of students rocking the traditional school uniform
The media craze kick started moments after a Twitter user identified as @olisa_n who shared the photos, wrote;
You think you’ve seen it all.. This is a school uniform of a school in Anambra state
Contrary to the post, it was later confirmed that all students in Anambra State, wear traditional outfits to school once every week.
Some sources reveal that civil servants in Anambra State wear traditional outfits to work every Wednesday, and schools adopted and extended it to students too.
This is coming few days after the Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, Prof. Kate Omenugha, was spotted dressed like a student to work.
Meanwhile Twitter users remain on a liking and retweeting spree as they can’t keep calm over the “never seen school uniform”
The rampant controversial rumour which trails ladies who are indigenes of Edo State has been fueled by social media users yet again following reports of a strange lady was spotted sitting in front of the out-of-bound Emotan statue, last week, in Benin, Edo State
As at the time of this report, the identity of he strange lady is yet to be known, however her appearance sparked an outrage in the area with people speculating the lady was there for fetish reasons.
