Gunman opens fire on US synagogue, eight feared dead

About four people have been reportedly killed after a gunman opened fire on Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, United States on Saturday.

According to US media, three police officers were killed in the shooting. The police arrived the scene shortly before 10am US time

Although a suspect has been arrested, the police is continuing investigation as they are look into the possibility of multiple shooters.

Tweeting about the incident, US President Donald Trump said, “Watching the events unfolding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Law enforcement on the scene. People in Squirrel Hill area should remain sheltered. Looks like multiple fatalities. Beware of active shooter. God Bless All!”
