The Pirates of Seychelles coach, Gavin Jeanne has revealed that they are ready to battle it out with the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2019 AFCON qualifier on Saturday in Victoria.
Seychelles lost their first match of the qualifiers against Libya 5-1, Jeanne said his team have learned their lesson and they are ready to give Nigeria a run for their money in other to get a positive result.
“Yes, we are very ready and positive about our chances against Nigeria,” Jeanne told reporters in Victoria.
“We have prepared well and I hope the players maintain their focus and stick to the plan. We have enjoyed a good build-up to the game. It’s our biggest football match in history.
“We have tested ourselves enough from our participation it the Cosafa Cup till now. I hope it goes well and we make a positive impact.”

The match is scheduled to take place at the Stade Linite stadium in Victoria 1 30 pm Nigerian Time.
