Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is satisfied with Nigeria’s 3-0 victory against Seychelles in Victoria.
Ahmed Musa gave Nigeria the lead in the 15th minute, Chidozie Awaziem scored the second goal in the 34th minute before Ighalo put the icing on the cake in the 57th minute from the spot.
“We are very satisfied with the result as the important thing was to win three points,” Rohr told reporters after the game.
“It was not easy as our opponents were very combative and aggressive.
We started well though in the second half we found it hard playing against the wind.
“Our opponents also worked hard and we never underestimated them.”
South Africa and Libya played out a goalless draw in Durban.
Nigeria are in the third position with three points
