Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has labeled those that criticize him for not playing Marcus Rashford as confused.
Rashford scored two goals in two matches for England during the international break, Jamie Carragher urged the young star to quit Manchester United in other to fulfill his potential.
Mourinho said in his pre-match press conference
“The people that (are) speaking about his minutes, I think they are a bit confused,” he added.
“Marcus Rashford is not Dominic Solanke, he’s not Ruben Loftus-Cheek, he’s not Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
“He’s Marcus Rashford, Manchester United player, with an incredible number of appearances and an incredible number of minutes played at the highest level in the best possible competitions.
“So Manchester United supporters – for you and just for you – to know what we are doing with Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay, that’s what we are doing here.”
Manchester United will travel to the Vicarage Road to take on Watford on Saturday evening
