Ahmed Musa, Chidozie Awaziem and Odion Ighalo all scored in Victoria as Nigeria defeated Seychelles 3-0 in the 2019 AFCON qualifier.
Ahmed Musa continued from where he stopped at the World Cup when he opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a superb goal to give the Super Eagles an early lead.
Chidozie Awaziem increased Nigeria’s lead in the 34th minute to give the Super Eagles a 2-0 lead at the end of the first half.
Samuel Kalu was fouled in the 18-yard-box in the 57th minute, Odion Ighalo scored from the spot to end his goal drought which lasted 10 hours 55 minutes.
Super Eagles lost the first match against South Africa in Uyo last year.
