Another British man has gone on a solo protest demanding for the release of Leah Sharibu, the Christian Nigerian girl kidnapped by Boko Haram. His protest is coming two days after UK member of parliament, Tom Brake, held a protest in front of the Nigerian High Commission in the UK to bring attention to the #FreeLeah campaign.
The new protester can be seen in the picture below on the street of London dressed in a Nigerian traditional attire while holding a placard demanding for the release of Leah Sharibu.
Leah Sharibu who was abducted alongside 119 school girls in Dapchi few weeks ago spoke from captivity asking President Muhammadu Buhari to save her from the hands of her captors.
TheCable exclusively reports showing her latest picture as well as the audio of her plea to Buhari.
Leah, who was kidnapped in February, also appealed that her family members be assisted.
All the girls who were captured were subsequently released, except five who reportedly died in detention, but Sharibu was held back for “refusing to renounce her faith”.
