Marriage doesn’t work, Just have a child – Timaya advises Phyno

Nigerian singer, Timaya has advised his colleague Phyno to forget about marriage because it doesn’t work anymore. According to him, it is advisable to just have a child instead of getting married.

Timaya made the statement in company of Rudeboy of the defunct Psquare, who is married with 3 kids.

See video below.

Few weeks ago, Timaya stated in an interview with Vibe.ng magazine that he’s not a marriage material.

‘No. I’m not a marriage material. I’m not ready for that,” Timaya said.

On fatherhood:

”Fatherhood is life. Anything that is good comes easy. My music is my love and Emma is my life, so we are living it. Sometimes she tells me that “Daddy I don’t like that song, take it off”, and I will be like “why don’t you like it?” I’m trying to grow my kids in the way of love just so that they can be real. If I have bad breath, my daughter can tell me, “Daddy your breath does not smell nice”.  Music and fatherhood is a happy life. I’m not living like I have to be serious because I’m doing music. It’s the job but that’s my life. I might just be doing music sometimes in the studio with my daughter but of course I’m a father, I know what is good for her at her age. So I can tell her “hey, It is bedtime now”. I’m a responsible dad also.”

Kwankwaso to declare presidential ambition on Wednesday

Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso will on Wednesday declare his presidential ambition in Abuja. The Senator representing Kano Central is seeking to become the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019.

Kwankwaso will make the announcement at a rally to be held at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

In a statement signed by the Kwankwaso Presidential Campaign Committee in Abuja, on Sunday, Kwankwaso is quoted as saying, “It is imperative for us to embark on massive infrastructural turnaround across the country with the judicious management of the nation’s resources without necessarily mortgaging the future of the country on excessive foreign loans and its attendant burden.”

The lawmaker promised to “eliminate insecurity in all its forms across the country and return Nigeria to the path of prosperity.”

“Dignitaries from all walks of life from across the country and the Diaspora are expected to attend the declaration”, the statement added.
