Talent Management Company MK Content has responded to trending story on Beast of No Nation’s actor Strika, real name Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye. Emmanuel was in the news days ago after a journalist claimed he saw him “begging for money on the road”. He was later interviewed where he revealed that since he turned 18, he has not been given access to the $30,000 he made from the movie as promised.
The company has however released a statement providing details on the welfare facilities and financial support given to the child actor since the movie. They stated that before Strika can access his money, he needs to present a valid ID to show he is now 18 years. They also revealed that they’ve been looking for him since they discovered he fled from school and his guardian’s home. The company said him and another child actor live together and are on full scholarship paid for by the producers of the movie with contribution from Netflix.
