Nike defend Serena Williams over catsuit ban at French Open

Top sports brand, Nike has moved to defend tennis superstar, Serena Williams following her decision to wear a black catsuit at Roland Garros.

Organisers of the French Open have banned the catsuit and accused Williams of flouting the rules of the tournament.

In the heat of the dispute, Nike shared a post on social media with the caption: “You can take the superhero out of her costume, but you can never take away her superpowers,”

Nike have a close partnership with the most successful women’s tennis player of all time hence the move openly support her.
