Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Shogunle has again questioned the seriousness and validity of the popular #EndSARS campaign that has constantly called on the Nigerian Police to scrap its Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
ACP Shogunle had earlier taken to Twitter to share a photo of himself in Lagos and ready to verify all the claims being made by Twitter users about SARS harassment and brutality.
Hello #Lagos, I am here to see things by myself.
Where is the place?#EndSARS #ReformSARS #BailisFree #PoliceAccountability.

According to him, the replies to this tweet proved that the claims may be a lie as users only insulted him and his looks rather than provide useful information. He says the visit was to enable him compile a report about SARS brutality.
To enable me submit report confirming #EndSARS stories, I came from Abuja to Lagos to see things by myself.
Rather than pointing me to incident locations (so I can verify) folks are mocking my shoes (Clarks) & saying I dress like cattle rearer /mai tea.
Is this a serious hashtag? https://t.co/pfofmGVy33— Abayomi Shogunle (@YomiShogunle) August 5, 2018
