Following a 10-day vacation in London, President Muhammadu Buhari is set to return to the country on Saturday.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said the president is due to arrive today.
According to Shehu, “For now, I can’t confirm the exact time he will land but protocol officials will alert us on time ahead so that we can move to the airport to receive him. He will definitely arrive in the country on Saturday”
The President embarked on the vacation on August 3 and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had been in the Acting President capacity since then.
While President Buhari was away, he was visited by Senator Godswill Akpabio who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling APC.
