Architect Princess Fifi Ejindu is undoubtedly one of the leading lights of Architecture in Nigeria.
Given her outlook as well as carriage, coupled with the fact that she is truly royalty, she could not but cause stir in social events.
And so for these reasons, it was the pretty, regal and fashion connoisseur that many people knew, and not the brilliant lady who was the first African woman to be awarded a BA degree in Architecture at the prestigious Pratt Institute.
A Princess, her name is Offiong Ekanem Ejindu. Her traditional title is Her Royal Highness Obongawan King James
Fifi Ejindu was born and raised in Ibadan and also attended Queens College Lagos
Her father, Professor Sylvester Joseph Una was not only a lecturer at the University of Ibadan but also the first Minister of Health in the former Eastern Region of Nigeria
Fifi Ejindu’s 5oth birthday bash at the Burj Al Arab hotel in 2012 was the first known Nigerian party in that hotel which was then classified as the world’s only seven-star hotel
Despite the affluence and age, Fifi still personally supervises sites to ensure that things are done according to plans and projections. She is a stickler for excellence and perfection
One aspect of her life she never likes to talk about is her philanthropy. She is well known for this despite the fact that she wants to keep it off the media as much as possible.
Her 500mil dollar oil and gas project which is being co-financed with Chinese investors is one of the largest investments in the South South zone of Nigeria
