Photos from Frank Edwards 28th birthday party

Nigerian contemporary Christian singer, Frank Ugochukwu Edwards celebrated his birthday on Sunday 22nd July.

The Enugu born star, who clocked 28 last weekend has now shared the photos from the birthday bash via his Instagram page

Photos of the birthday party which was celebrated in company of his friends and family at his home captured fun filled moments the singer had.

Born Frank Ugochukwu Edwards in Nigeria’s Enugu state, he grew up with five siblings.

Edwards is known to have released a number of popular contemporary Christian albums, including Angels on the Runway (2010) and Unlimited (2011). He is also known for his work with both the LoveWorld Music Ministry and the Christ Embassy Church (Nigeria).

He learned to play the piano during his early years and took up singing at age ten. His teenage conversion to Christianity led him to focus his career on religious music.

Coach Salisu Yusuf caught on tape receiving bribe to field players

The BBC has published a video showing Nigeria’s top football coach, Salisu Yusuf, caught on camera taking cash from men posing as football agents to two Nigerian players.

The footage was captured by controversial Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in September 2017 – and is being broadcast for the first time by BBC Africa Eye.

Yusuf was the first assistant to Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr during the Russian World Cup. And he is due to lead the national team to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

According to the video, Yusuf accepted $1,000 from the men posing as football agents to field some unidentified two players.

In his response, Yusuf denied any wrongdoing. He said he did not demand any money and that what he was given, $750 and not $1000, was a gift.

Ekiti State Governor-elect, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has released a list of eminent citizens of the state that will serve in the Governorship Transition Committee, charged with the responsibility of liaising with the outgoing administration for a smooth transition ahead of the October 16th take off date of the new government in the state.
The 32-member committee is headed by a former member of the National Assembly, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi as chairman, while a former Chairman of Ijero Local Government Council, Hon Abiodun Omoleye will serve as deputy Chair. A former Permanent Secretary in the state’s civil service, Mr Ayodeji Ajayi, is the secretary of the committee.
The Committee is to be known as the Ekiti State 2018 JKF/APC Governorship Transition Committee.

Princess Shyngle shades female celebs who are above 30 and not married

Actress Princess Shyngle has thrown a shade at fellow female celebrities who are over 30 years of age and still not married but are busy attending weddings each weekend. She also slammed social media slay queens due to the fact that male celebrities are now opting for decent ladies for marriage.
