A Nigerian couple abroad have cut off communication with the husband’s family after they criticized him because the wife is the breadwinner.

A Twitter user has shared reports of how a couple who had visited the country to see the husband’s family got more than they bargained for after the family asked the wife to quit her job and be a full house wife while the man should search for a job

The couple, dismayed at the advice of the husband’s family members decided to explain to the family that though the wife is the bread winner, she is being paid six figures in euros and the family is usually sent money from the income of the woman.

The couple returned back abroad where the are based and blocked communication with the husband’s family members. According to the Twitter user, the husband blocked his family first.
