According to a statement by Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood, the Nigerian police Force Public Relations Officer, IGP Commassie died at the age of 76.

How fans welcomed Ronaldo to China during his CR7 tour (Photos)

Former Real Madrid player, Cristiano Ronaldo can be seen below smiling to the cheers of fans as he took his annual CR7 tour to China. The Portuguese star took the trip days after completing his move to Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

Ronaldo made his way to the famous Lama Temple in the city, where he showed off his skills with a dazzling silver football.

As ever, fans packed out the venue in Beijing to catch a glimpse of the five times Ballon D'or who posed for photos and took selfies.

Taking to social media accounts to share photos of him and the fans, Ronaldo wrote: ‘Excited to be back in China! Ready to inspire the future of football.’

Ronaldo pays Spanish authorities £12.1m to end tax dispute

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly paid £12.1million to end his tax dispute in Spain after having accepted a two-year suspended prison sentence this week.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, they reported this week that he has deposited the £12.1m and will also pay a further £4.7m in fines and costs. He has also accepted a two-year prison sentence which he will never have to serve because first offences for administrative crimes involving terms of two-years or less are not custodial in Spain.
