Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has hinted on what may have caused an alleged breakup with Nigerian rapper, Iceberg Slim. In a new social media post, the light-skinned curvy actress wondered why some men neglect taking care of their women simply because they feel she is independent. According to her, such notion will only make some other guy snatch the lady from them.
Juliet Ibrahim wrote:
”I do not understand Men who dont take care of their women, all in the name of “She’s independent”. If you don’t take care of her my brother someone else will. #OpenGistWithJuliet.”
Few months ago, Juliet Ibrahim sparked breakup rumors with Iceberg Slim after she deleted pictures of the both of them together from her social media pages. This made many of her fans to draw conclusions that her relationship with he rapper is over.
However, in a social media post, Juliet revealed that she decided to take her private life off social media, hence the reason she deleted pictures of the both of them.
Juliet Ibrahim wrote:
“Dear Fans and Friends, Months ago I decided it was time to face my day job and thus took off aspects of my private life off my social media handles. Usually, I follow trending stories about me and have a good laugh but not today.
“The only story here is that I decided to take any form of relationship I have off my social media and focus on my life and my career while juggling 2 countries.
“This move has sent the media crazy with insinuations about my private life. Please note that it is all about my day job on my social media handles going forward. If I need to let the world know about what’s going on in my private life, be rest assured that you will be the first to know.
“Until then, please disregard all fakes quotes allegedly coming from me and alleged interviews which never happened.
“God bless you all. Thank you for your love and support.”
TV personality, Wendy Williams has opened up about her career and family in a new interview with Cosmopolitan.
The 54-year-old spoke about her son's drug battle, admitting that it was incredibly difficult to put on a fun show every day while privately dealing with something so heartbreaking.
Talking openly about getting her 17-year-old son off drugs, Wendy said:
"I saw it for myself — this affected [my family] very deeply. I didn’t know whether my kid would ever return to school. The whole time we’re nursing him through [recovery], I’m supposed to make fun on the show like, 'Hi! Here’s Wendy! Hahaha!' But I’m dying inside."
Wendy, who also had a drug problem some years ago, added:
The daughter of the Alaafin of Oyo, Princess Rukayat Adeteju Adeyemi had her Nikkah ceremony in Oyo state with guests from far and wide in attendance. She tied the knot with heartrob Hakeem Adesina Folarin at the Aganju Royal Forecourt, Alaafin' palace, and in the presence of His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III Iku Babayeye.
The event kicked off with an opening prayer by Alhaji Dauda Igiogun, who invoked the blessings of the most high on the occasion and on the about to wed couple. After the heartwarming prayers, the couple was pronounced husband and wife to the admiration and joy of the huge crowd of witnesses.
