An update on the reports reveal that a tanker had exploded inward Berger area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, leading to the series fire explosion of all the vehicles plying the route including a school bus conveying school children
According to the reports from The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency ,(LASEMA) more than nine people have been confirmed dead, four others were rescued, with two in critical condition and two others with minor injuries as a total number of cars burnt beyond redemption totaled at fifty three
General Manager, LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu noted that the tanker fell around 5:53pm and exploded, while vehicle behind it were caught in the fire.
The LASTMA, FRSC, LASEMA, Police, fire services, amongst other authorities have since begun with moving the dead bodies out of the scene as well as trying to save some of the affected victims
