Seun Olagunju beams with smiles as her son weds in style (photos)

Popular NTA news anchor, Mrs Seun Olagunju, recently played the mother of the Day at her godson, Ifeoluwa’s wedding.

The 43 year old happily mum of three didn’t stop beaming with smiles all through the young man’s wedding to his lover, Doyin.

Like her husband, Dr. Kayode Olagunju, an Assistant Corps Marshal at the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), who is a gregarious dude, Seun is a joyful person who spread this joy on the faces of those that came to celebrate with her.

At work, Seun is known for her brilliance and dedication to work. As a result of her outstanding achievements, she has won the Television Newscaster of the Year Award for eight times.

Nina blasts her management team during live interview, slams interviewer for making her look black

Nina has called out Thenet for making her look dark in an interview she granted them recently, after they wrote about her poor management team and how she was forced to shut them up during the said interview.

Here is an excerpt from Thenet’s report: “The interview which was nearly marred by poor logistics (she didn’t have a car and had to be brought over in a Taxify ride we got for her) and ‘African time’, started on a rather ridiculous note when the Big Brother finalist declined to go on air because she was not pleased with her makeup.

Her staunch refusal suggested to us that she was concerned about how people perceived her and as seen on the show, seemed unsure of herself. She was then taken to a name brand makeup studio by her handler.

Lady kills her husband for beating the family cat

Police in Dallas, Texas say a woman has confessed to fatally shooting her husband "as he was beating the family cat" during an argument at their home.

Mary Harrison, 47, was arrested after telling detectives that she shot Dexter Harrison, 49, during a domestic dispute on Saturday, police say in a statement.

Neighbours say the cat recently went missing, and Mrs Harrison had posted flyers. It eventually returned. She has been charged with murder and booked into a Dallas County jail.

The shooting took place around 06:45 local time, police say. Mr Harrison was transported to the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, where he was pronounced dead.


Bouncer, wife lose their lives in Lagos fire

A bouncer in a Lagos club, Sunday Braimoh, and his wife, Morenikeji, have been burnt to death in a fire incident on Idewu Street, Olodi Apapa, Lagos State.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the couple were in their room when the fire started on the passageway of the eight-room bungalow.

A tenant was reportedly cooking when petrol spilled on the floor, which started the fire.

Our correspondent learnt that the couple became trapped in their room when the iron door to the room jammed.

The windows of their room were also said to have burglar-proof bars.

It was said that efforts by the husband to break the louvers of the window and bend the bars were abortive.

The remains of the couple were reportedly recovered by officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, who responded to the emergency.
