Actress and film maker, Kemi Adetiba has reacted to calls by some quarters that prayer is not what Nigeria needs to solve the problems it is facing.
After the Plateau massacre and the fuel tanker accident on Otedola bridge in Lagos, an hashtag #PrayForNigeria began trending on Twitter with people calling for special prayers to end the trend of calamities befalling the nation.
However, some people on the hashtag were of the opinion that prayers are not what the country needs. This led to a reaction from Kemi Adetiba who had a word for those prayer shaming people.

As a woman who epitomizes courage, it’s not surprising that Okoedion who recently authored a book, titled “The Courage of Freedom,” was presented with the 2018 Trafficking in Persons Hero Award by the U.S Secretary of State, Michael R. Pompeo. The award is given to men and women who made lasting impact on the fight against modern slavery.
