Kemi Adetiba has a word of advice for those saying prayer is not what Nigeria needs

Actress and film maker, Kemi Adetiba has reacted to calls by some quarters that prayer is not what Nigeria needs to solve the problems it is facing.

After the Plateau massacre and the fuel tanker accident on Otedola bridge in Lagos, an hashtag #PrayForNigeria began trending on Twitter with people calling for special prayers to end the trend of calamities befalling the nation.

However, some people on the hashtag were of the opinion that prayers are not what the country needs. This led to a reaction from Kemi Adetiba who had a word for those prayer shaming people.

Former sex slave receives International Award-narrates ordeal

Former  sex slave turned human right activist Blessing Okoedion  have been awarded the 2018 Trafficking in Persons Hero Award in the United States.

Blessing was Betrayed and tricked into prostituting on the streets of Italy, but found grace under pressure by taking the initiative to report her traffickers to the police.

After regaining  her freedom; she went further to raise awareness about human trafficking in Italy

Okoedion further added that many Nigerian graduates and professionals are being trafficked to work as sex workers on the streets of Italy

As a woman who epitomizes courage, it’s not surprising that Okoedion who recently authored a book, titled “The Courage of Freedom,” was presented with the 2018 Trafficking in Persons Hero Award by the U.S Secretary of State, Michael R. Pompeo. The award is given to men and women who made lasting impact on the fight against modern slavery.

KWAM 1’s Babymama, Actress Bisola Badmus marks son’s 6th birthday in style (photos)

Nollywood Yoruba actress, Bisola Badmus, who is Fuji maestro KWAM 1’s babymama celebrated son’s 6th birthday on June 29.

Named Prince Abdul Malik Olasunkanmi Ayinde Marshal, the excited mum has been flaunting her son’s photos on social media.

She wrote on one of her Instagram posts, “Ever since have been rewarded with a special gift like you ???my life have been filled with joy ????enjoy your day King Malik ????Olasunkanmi the most handsome”

Though many didn’t believe her when she was pregnant and declared it was for KWAM 1, the striking resemblance Malik shares with his dad said it all.

Nigerian rapper/singer, Eva Alordiah has stated in a social media post why the call for people to get their PVC shouldn't be the only call out there. According to her, PVCs can change the man at the helm of affairs but can't change our problem which she believes comes from inside of us.
