Sadly, the deceased were hit by stray bullets. Late Akokia and Fadugba were killed by 6 hoodlums reportedly led by a drug dealer, who is known to the police.
The hoodlums stormed the community in that night on motorcycles and shot periodically into the air.
It was further revealed that Akokia was ill and was returning from the chemist where he went to purchase drugs when he was hit by the stray bullet.
While Fadugba was relaxing in front of a barber’s shop close to his home when the bullet hit him and reportedly died on the spot.
According to the police, SP Chike Oti disclosed that:
“There were four individuals who were known for negatively influencing children and youths in that community. They had issues with the community and they were chased away.
They regrouped and unleashed mayhem on the community, years after they were sent out. They killed a university worker and a student.”
Unilag’s spokesperson Taiwo Oloyede confirmed the death of the staff but revealed that she was not aware that a student was killed.
Oloyede said: “Fadugba was shot on Friday and we lost him. He was a senior non-teaching staff member of the Centre for Information and Technology System. He will be buried this week.
I am not sure we lost any student but I will confirm and get back to you.” Fadugba was a staff of the Centre for Information and Technology System in the institution.
A Nigerian lady has destroyed my boyfriend's apartment over cheating
Hell had no fury like a woman scorned and so is the case of a Delta-based lady identified as Christabel
Christabel has proven to her boyfriend, Tony...or now Ex, that she is truly scorned.
Christabel heard from a supposed reliable source that her man was cheating on her and had taken another woman home.
Things got quite ugly when she got to the house and decided to teach the man she loved a lesson.
According to reports, in anger and tears, the infuriated girlfriend vandalised her Tony's apartment and made a huge mess before walking out.
A Nigerian woman has allegedly confessed to have placed a curse on her daughter’s womb.
That was not the only thing she did but she had to make the confession after her church pastor prophesied that she may travel and not return.
According to Michael Ose George-Ukhuegbe who revealed this inhumane act via his Facebook page, the woman made this shocking confession while planning on travelling to Israel for pilgrimage
His post reads:
“A colleague told me at work: A woman in Nigeria wanted to visit Israel for Pilgrimage, a week before leaving, the church Pastor said if there’s anybody in the congregation who’s planning to travel to Israel for Pilgrimage, they should go and make peace with anybody they may have hurt or else they won’t return alive.
After service, the woman picked up her phone called the daughter who lives here in London...
A luxury mansion co-owned by a former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and his fourth wife, Jennifer Douglas, in the posh neighbourhood of Potomac, Maryland, United States, has been auctioned. The property gained international notoriety in 2005 after it was searched by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in connection with a bribery scandal involving disgraced former U.S. Congressman, William Jefferson.
The seven-bedroom cream-coloured single-family brick house on 9731 Sorrel Ave, Potomac, Maryland, was originally listed for $3.25 million on Zillow and other online real estate websites on January 25, 2018 but was eventually sold for a pending offer of $2.95 million on February 26, 2018 after an online auction.
A pending offer means a buyer and seller of the property have reached a deal. However, a buyer can still pull out from the deal (which is very unlikely)...
