Runtown has taken to his Twitter to bash him over the allegations he labelled on him and he isn’t taking it any easy.
Eric Manny Entertainment, the record label that signed Runtown in their lawsuit revealed that the singer has breached his contract with the imprint.
They said Runtown has been deliberately breaching his contract with the label and they have tried to appeal with him so many times which he bulge.
Well..with the whole fresh court drama, Runtown isn’t taking any of it as he came for the record label owner Okwudili accusing him of trying to get money unjustly from him.
Runtown’s brother also joined in the bashing saying that Eric Many record label owner Okwudili couldn’t manage his car business well now he wants to come feed out of another man’s hard work.
He tweeted:
“When you live life beyond your means and go broke, don’t try to live off the next man”
This is actually the second time the ‘Mad Over You’ crooner is being sued over breach of contract with his record label, in May 2016, he was sued in the Federal High Court by the same record label stating that he perform shows without permission from the record label.
It may be recalled that on 31 May 2016, Runtown sought to terminate his contract with Eric Manny Entertainment upon an injunction obtained by the record label from a Federal High Court in Lagos stopping Runtown from performing at events or recording songs on allegations that “he signs up, concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label”.
Runtown however denied the allegations in an exclusive interview with Joey Akan of Pulse Nigeria.
In the aforementioned interview, Runtown revealed that he quit the record label due to breaches in the recording contract, threat to life and extortion
