A Jacksonville based Nigerian doctor has earned the applause of people, after a video of him dancing in the hospital to help calm sick patients went viral.
Pediatrician Dr. Chima Matthew was the doctor on duty when a mother took her kids to Wolfson Children’s hospital in Jacksonville, Florida last August.
His humanitarian service has spread far and wide.
Wendy Moses brought 7-year-old Autumn Moses to be treated for strep. They were accompanied by her other kids, 4-year-old Krystlynn Moses and 8-year-old Winter Moses.
The kids were worried about getting injections and medicines, but they met Dr. Chima and he made them forget their worries.
As soon as the doctor came into the room and got introduced to the children, he made friends with them and began to teach them dance steps.
Wendy Moses was really pleased and filmed the doctor dancing with her kids. The video quickly went viral and got millions of views as soon as it was shared online.
