20 year old Nigerian man pictured above has been arrested for allegedly impersonating the emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi 11
He was apprehended by theKano State police command for allegedly impersonating the emir online.
Quite active for a twenty year old, he pretended to over 262,000 followers with a verified Instagram page
Though yet to be identified as at the time of this reports, he had reportedly been on the run by the members of the state force.
The seemingly adamant ‘suspect’ refused to quit his criminal actions despite the statement released by the emir publicly declaring through his Chief of staff, Alhaji Munir Sanusi, that he never authorized any person’s or organisation to open a social media account for him.
The emir who often advocate the need for tolerance,and respect for one another, said ;:-)
We have officially notified the administrators of all the fake social media accounts requesting that the account be closed with immediate effect.
He lamented that the fraudsters have remained unrenting in different nefarious acts adding a recent advertorial disclaiming a fake facebook and twitter accounts created in the name of his Highness
