According to the actor who said he went to the University 13 years after leaving Secondary School, they had just one lantern no one dared touch. Here’s what he wrote;

‘A superlative birthday shout out to me???. I’m a definition of grace. I was born into a very humble family. My father never owned a motorcycle let alone car. My father never bought a TV not until after my secondary school. I grew up in one of the “slumest” slums in Ibadan. No electricity for several years,I had to make use of “kuufin” (local lamp?) while reading for my SSCE (We had only one lantern which no one dare touch?). I had my university education 13 years after my sec school, yet I’m being celebrated in this manner. What else can I say than to keep appreciating my CREATOR ? In November 2016, seasoned actor, Muyiwa Ademola, was in the news prior to a decision he made to jet out of Nigeria with his wife, Omolara and his kids including his grown up twins, whom he got from his long-time baby mama.

They all left for Houston Texas, United States of America. The rumour then was that, the tall and handsome dude left with his wife and kids to cool off and celebrate Christmas in the US.

3 months after, precisely in February 2017, Muyiwa returned to Nigeria and the question on his fans’ lips was: When would his wife and children returnto Nigeria. Yorubamoviegist.com then gathered that they have finally relocated. An insider said Muyiwa made the decision because he wanted a sound education for his children.

Adekunle Gold defends Dorcas Fapson’s ‘taxify’ rape story

Nigerian Singer Adekunle Gold, has responded to critics of MTV Shuga star, Dorcas Shola Fapson's taxify rape story.

His reaction is coming after the driver, Henry Nnaemeka released his version of the story which got people blaming Dorcas.

He tweeted;

“When someone narrates their ordeal these days, they get bashed and judged and you wonder why people don’t speak up when they are in trouble? I am reading comments on a blog; people abusing Dorcas for making the story up, other animals saying she’s proly dressed indecently. SMH
What happened to us really?”

Recall that Dorcas released videos that show him lock her up in his car and taking her to an unknown destination against her will.

Dorcas insists she narrowly escaped being abducted and raped by the Taxify driver. Thankfully, she had her pepper spray with her and it saved the day.

You wil recall that her husband, Ogbonna Kanu was once married to a British woman, Hannah Turay before he married Laura Ikeji and he has two kids with his ex-wife.

Laura described her relationship with her step children as ‘a blissful one’, saying that she loves them and they love her too.

90-year-old Grandma begins primary school (photos)

A 90-year-old grand mother, identified as Priscilla Sitienei, who hails from Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county, has not given up on education, as she’s enrolled in a primary school in Kenya.

According to Priscilla, she chose to attend school simply because she had an eagerness to read the Bible and learn how to send an SMS on her phone.

The relentless grandmother is enrolled at Vision preparatory and she is schoolmate with seven of her grandchildren.

Priscilla affectionately referred to as Gogo, which is the grandmother in Kalenjin, dedicated much of her life to raising her children and was a midwife for 65 years.

She grew up under colonial rule and did not get the opportunity to go to school, so she took to education at her old age in a bid to empower herself.
