For customers of Taxify, it’s bound to be a
September to remember.
The luxury ride-hailing app has slashed its
prices in Lagos for the entire month, partly in a bid to show gratitude to the
burgeoning clientele and also to start the Eid-El-Kabir month with a gift to
customers.
All riders will enjoy new, reduced
rates. Rides rates will now start from as low as N300, ₦ 65 per KM or ₦ 6 per min –
while the minimum fare remains ₦400.
But the good times are not only for the riders,
the drivers are also entitled to a special package. The September goody bag has
in store better earnings for driver-partners, as a result of a surefire
increase in demand.
“While lowering the prices, we’ll be
compensating drivers with bonuses and keeping them happy with the earnings and
support we provide, which leads to ultimately better service for riders,”
said a statement from Taxify.
With the best estimated time of arrival (ETA)
in Lagos, no cancellation charges, no unnecessary surge pricing – and now with
a month long freebie for all, everyone wins with Taxify.
