Obasanjo’s son ended up getting married without the protest promised by his mother

The much publicized wedding of former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s
son, Olajuwonlo and the daughter of Sir Kensington Adebutu alias Baba
Ijebu, Temitope, took place yesterday at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

Expectedly it was attended by the rich and famous: the likes of
Ambassador Walter Carrington and his wife Dr (Mrs) Arese Carrington, the
Ooni of Ife Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, former PDP chieftain Chief Olabode
George, the Governor of Ondo State, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu and Dr Doyin
Okupe and many others turned to celebrate with OBJ and Baba Ijebu.

Conspicuously missing however was the mother of the groom who had
promised to stage a protest at the venue of the wedding to stop it from


Nigerian fuji music star, Malaika, narrowly escapes death after a near-fatal accident in Lagos

 Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Adekunle survived an accident on Ikorodu Road on Saturday 13th May 2017.
While going to perform at an event in Festac, Lagos, he was hit by a truck whose drive lost control at Onipanu, Bus Stop.

The white Highlander Jeep the Fuji Star was in, was totally damaged. Malaika was injured at the chest and hands. Yemi Oladehinde who drove the Jeep had minor injury on his forehead. 3 other occupants were injured as well. Malaika is currently at the hospital receiving treatment.
