Father, children punish passer-by in weird way for urinating near residence

A man, his children and other family
members have been arrested by the police in Abuja for allegedly lynching
a 60-year-old man who urinated by their residence.

Pius Inaiwe was said to have been killed
by the suspects for passing urine in their compound in Jiwa, a
community in the Abuja Municipal Area Council.
It was learnt that Inaiwe went into a coma after he was assaulted by the suspects.
He was subsequently rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival by the medical personnel.
Our correspondent gathered that the
incident, which occurred last Thursday, caused an uproar in the
community resulting in an attempt by some youths to attack the suspects
involved in the assault on the deceased.
Northern City News learnt that it took
the intervention of the Divisional Police Officer, Gwagwa Police
Station, and some other prominent persons in the area to stop the youths
from attacking the suspects involved in Inaiwe’s killing.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer,
Perry Usen, confirmed to our correspondent on Sunday that six suspects
were in custody in connection with the incident.
“I can confirm to you that we have six
suspects in custody in connection with the incident. A man and his
family members, including his children were arrested for allegedly
lynching a 60-year-old man because he urinated near their compound.
Investigation is ongoing to know the level of their involvement in the
crime,” he said.

Members desert Alausa church over sacking of Presiding Chaplain

The Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa,
Ikeja, was a shadow of itself on Sunday during the Sunday service as
many members of the church did not show up.
PUNCH Metro, during a visit to

which usually ended around 1pm, was brought to a close at 11.30am.

Of the 30 church members that were
supposed to be part of the birthday thanksgiving service for the month
of May, only nine were present.
From the prayer session, led by the
Chaplain, Very Rev. Ayo Oyadotun, to the choir ministration, the general
theme was overcoming difficult times and fighting forces seeking to
scatter the church.
PUNCH Metro had reported that
the Presiding Chaplain of the...

7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

Man who was chased out by Pastor during church service narrates weird experience

Why My Pastor Ordered Me Out Of The Church
A brother needs your help. Apparently, he just joined a church
and he was discovered as a pianist. Well, he arrived church today and
the pastor refused to allow him enter due to his dressing.

Here’s how it was published on Nairaland.
What’s your candid view on this?
I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The
church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church’s
event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the
opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month.
Honestly, I
didn’t see myself as a church worker because I’ve never been to their
