President Goodluck Jonathan says he has lived up to his campaign
pledge to Nigerians that he would make the power sector a priority for
his administration.
“I have lived up to my campaign pledge to make the power sector a
priority. Although it was capital intensive to make a difference in the
power sector, my administration had been tackling it headlong.”
However many of the Nigerian youths, including media personality Toke
Makinwa, that watched the live broadcast of his meeting with the 5000
youths in Lagos last night claim they saw it via generators as they had
no electricity.
So sad!
