This is so incredible, Pastors are supposed to be SAINTS!
For allegedly impregnating one of his church members and forcing her
to abort the pregnancy, a pastor in Enugu State has been arrested.
Spokesman for the police in Enugu, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the alleged crime committed by the Pastor, said
“A pastor in charge of Hospital Chapel Ministry located at Obollo Eke
in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State and identified as Pastor
Friday Onuh has been accused of impregnating one Miss Favour Onah and
took her to a patent medicine dealer to abort the baby as alleged by the
parents of the girl, he has however denied it,” he told reporters.
The pastor had allegedly impregnated the girl, a worshipper in his
church and took her to a patent medicine dealer at Ikem in Isiuzo Local
Government Area of the state.
“It was reported that severe complications resulted from the abortion and that she is currently lying ill at a hospital.”
Rev. Juan Demetrius McFarland of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church
in Montgomery, Alabama, USA confessed to his congregation that he
discovered he had HIV in 2003 and then AIDS in 2008 yet he has engaged
in adulterous sexual relationships with several parishioners without
informing them of his health status.
He also admitted to mismanaging church funds, using drugs and,
finally, that he’d slept with several female congregants without
revealing that he has AIDS.
A church member spoke to WBTV and said, “I know a young lady who is a
member of the church who says she has slept with him and that she
didn’t want this to go public, and she running out now trying to find
out if there is anything wrong with her. And my heart goes out to her
because she’s been a wonderful church member, and then for something
like this to happen. The fact that he didn’t tell them at all. That’s a
crime in itself.”
The church deacon, Nathan Williams Jr., said about the McFarland’s
confession. “He confessed to the entire membership and then to the City
of Montgomery, because as soon as he got done confessing, it went all
over Montgomery anyway. So it’s nothing we [are] making up. It’s coming
out of his mouth.”
According to WBTV, McFarland was fired from the church on 5 October,
and could possibly face misdemeanour charges of knowingly transmitting a
sexually transmitted disease.
