A motorist knocked down a 6-year-old boy along Alekuwodo/Okefia road, in Osogbo, Osun state, a few hours ago.
According to reports, the accident occurred while some youths and kids celebrated All Progressive Congress’ win.
APC faithfuls (youth) had taken to the streets in wild jubilation as
preliminary results from the polling centres across the state capital
puts Rauf Aregbesola in early lead, however one of them – a six year
old boy – was knocked down by a motorist.
Although the celebration is still on, the boy has been rushed to the hospital and is responding to treatment.
Meanwhile, incoming reports indicate that Governor Rauf Aregbesola, has taken the lead in the ongoing Osun Gubernatorial Polls.
The incumbent Governor of the state, has swept home to victory in 20 local government areas.
