There is no stopping Uche Jumbo when she puts on her producer hat and
takes control of a script, turning it into film for the entertainment
of her widely spread fans. Whether or not she should simply stick to acting is a story for another day but with the trailer of her new movie, Unconditional, well, let’s just say it doesn’t quite hit the mark she must have been gunning for.
The movie, centered on a mother’s love for her missing child, stars Dakore Akande, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Lepacious Bose, Ruth Kadiri, Bayo Bankole and Chika Chukwu.
It is about Gina’s (Uche Jombo) eight-month-old child who was stolen
but suddenly reappears 11 years later. Gina traces her missing child’s
whereabouts but is shocked to find that there are adoption papers
proving that she did give up one of her twins for adoption.

The movie seems promising and has elements of wit combined with deep
emotional battles but the trailer lacks all the emotion and fierceness
embodied in a story defining the essence of a mother’s pure and genuine
unconditional love for a child. It comes off more as two wealthy women
in a custody battle doing nothing really for a potential consumer.
This is not to say the actual movie may not be worth your while; it
could just be a case of a poor wrapper for an expensive gift. What do
you think? Watch the trailer HERE and share your thoughts.
