Quick Question: What’s the big deal about reality shows?

What’s up with our Nigerian artistes and their new love for Reality shows?!
Omotola Jalade’s the real me show airing on Africa Magic set the pace and now it’s become a trend for Nigerian artistes. Oh Omotola, see what you’ve caused?

Before Goldie passed on, she and Denrele had plans to start their “Tru friendship’ reality show, then Yoruba actress Laide Bakare and Jim Iyke — now Kaffy and DJ Jimmy Jatt have decided to join the league!
It seems like this reality TV bug is
bringing along with it unprofessionalism and disregard for the
seriousness that is broadcasting. I mean, next thing we know Segun Arinze will be having a reality show on his life as a married man. Breathe Kemi, breathe!
