Cry For Justice: A corps member’s ordeal at his PPA

Just sent in from a reader:
“Am reporting a case which happened
in my PPA -Primary Place Of Assignment (brighter tomorrow school) in Auchi, Eksako west local
government, Edo state on the 25th of Feb and it happened thus:
I was given 4 heavy slaps on my face while another
corper received 2 respectively – by my proprietress’ son due to a
misunderstanding between d corpers and the school management which he (proprietress’ son)
wasn’t part of. Apart from unlawfully slapping us, he made a phone call to the civil defence corps to
arrest and detain us on our way to the NYSC zonal office so as not to
report the case…Unfortunately one of the corpers was caught and forcefully arrested
while two others were been chased on their way to the office.
the injured corper

I escaped but the other corper was caught, beaten and injured seriously by a civil defence corps who is a friend of the proprietress’ son. Justice must be served, corpers are not to be
treated like thieves/animals because they are far away from home with nobody to
defend them – the civil defence corps officer must be called to question as well
as the proprietress son – all sinners will not go
unpunished.”
