Court finds Henry Okah Guilty of 2010 Independence Day bomb attacks

Henry Okah! Does the name ring a bell? Well, Henry Okah is the leader of the Movement For the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND)…He allegedly masterminded the twin car bombings that killed
twelve people and injured several others during
Nigeria’s 50th independence celebrations in October 2010

A South African court this morning found him guilty of the charges…He was also found guilty of masterminding the two
explosions in Warri in March 2010.
Okah was found guilty on all counts and faces a minimum sentence of
life in prison.
