More than one year after their dazzling royal wedding at Westminster
Abbey, London, Prince William and Kate Middleton are now expecting a
child.
According to reports, Kate Middleton hadn’t even planned to tell the royal family she was expecting until Christmas; however, acute morning sickness forced the early baby announcement.
As the pregnancy is in
its very early stages, Kate is expected to stay in
hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.
Kate was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of
morning sickness that affects one in 50 women – and occurs more often
when moms-to-be are expecting twins (So she is probably going to give birth to twins).
Kate’s trip to the hospital, coupled with intense media
speculation, forced the baby announcement early. Regardless, both sides
of the family — and most of the rest of the world — are “elated,”.
